General Information

We have been working with the Tarkett Company that is located in Otradny city for more than eight years. During these years, we have been fortunate not only to accomplish different written translations for this our client but also to arrange some interpretation projects.

Project Particulars

Typically, Tarkett needs various presentations to be translated from English into Russian language. In order to achieve this goal successfully we have to overcome some hardships.

For instance, presentations written by non-native speakers can contain some roughness, inaccuracies or sometimes-logical errors. As a result, the structure of the sentences can differ from correct one.

In addition, any presentation actually consists of statements, and then a translator cannot focus on the context, because there is none of it. It is good knowledge of the presentation subject that really helps to fulfill such a translation.

It should be also noted that sometimes we work with the presentations containing images with inscriptions that have to be extracted. Therefore, the project with images takes more time to retrieve the original text and replacing it with a translated version.

More than that, the amount of text usually increases during translation from English into Russian. Accordingly, the structure of the presentation can be changed by shifting, superimposing words and sentences. To avoid such a problem we need layout designer’s assistance.

We formed a team of experienced and reliable translators and editors, proven in/by many projects. As for Tarkett’s projects the same team of performers, who are familiar with the subject, as well as all the features of texts, executes translations.

Naturally, this knowledge has not been obtained immediately. Therefore, our translators have studied the specialized literature on the production of floor coverings that seriously helps to implement projects.

Sometimes time for the project is limited, and it is necessary to not only translate and edit, but to impose the final document.

It is the experience of our project managers (who control all the stages of the translation and as materials become available transmit the draft to the next level of performance) that allows coping with such a multi-level task.
