At All Correct, we believe it is essential to support the industry in every way possible. It is our goal to help as many future translators as possible become true professionals in their field. Besides arranging yearly internships for students at Samara universities, we have organized a number of translation competitions, evaluated translations as part of the LocJam2 jury, and took part in many other activities.
At the end of last year, we received an offer to give a series of lectures on games localization and software for students at Samara University. Naturally, we gladly agreed to help. Students taking courses in Linguistics attended classes on subjects like Software and Computer Games Localization, Contemporary Translation Technologies, and Translation: Strategies and Practice.
We also taught students at Samara State University about the code of ethics, which Demid Tishin, the co-founder of the All Correct Group, helped to develop. We hope that our lectures will help future translators understand how a translation agency operates and learn about the modern software that specialists use.
